SuperDrecksKëscht®

Core business

Circular economy: Avoiding, reducing, recycling and disposing of waste in an environmentally correct way - the SuperDrecksKëscht® stands for the sound treatment of available raw material and energy sources, claiming "Safety and Future for Everyone".

The SuperDrecksKëscht® is a brand that was developed as part of the waste management strategy of the Luxembourg State. It's orientation is determined by the EU circular economy strategy with the hierarchies - prevention first, then preparation for reuse, followed by recycling, before other recycling activities (e.g. energy recovery), before elimination of waste. It is the responsibility of the SuperDrecksKëscht® to use and implement the latest know-how in order to realise sustainable resources management in the ecological and economic sense and with high quality. This in turn allows for practice as a role model in the ecological restructuring of society. This model should give impulse to all stakeholders in the economy aiming at rssource efficiency and environmental benefits.

  • Further development of concepts for reconsumption centers by means of a new RAL-Quality-Label
  • Special waste management in apartment buildings accompanied by new strategies to implement the 'polluter pays' principle (by waste meters for example)
