DuPont™ Tyvek® coveralls are popular across a wide range of industries, where they help provide reliable protection against a broad range of hazards including lead, asbestos, mould or light splashes of water-based chemicals in low concentration. They also protect sensitive processes from contamination from humans, are extremely low-linting and silicon-free.
DuPont™ Tychem® garments help provide protection from chemical and biological hazards. The Tychem® range has been independently permeation-tested with over 180 chemicals.
DuPont™ ProShield® garments are engineered for applications that require lower levels of protection. Recently DuPont has introduced ProShield® FR, a limited-flame-spread coverall designed as a disposable over-garment that helps protect primary flame-resistant clothing worn underneath.

DuPont™ Tyvek® air cargo covers
Ideal protection for your perishable and temperature-sensitive shipments
Air cargo covers made from DuPont™ Tyvek® provide a high level of thermal protection from solar radiation to reduce the damaging effects of the heat. The reflective property of Tyvek® keeps the shipment naturally cooler than other covers on the market. The unique properties of Tyvek® allow for rapid cooling of the load when placed in chilled storage or cooling chambers, shortening cooling times.
DuPont™ Tyvek® Air Cargo Covers provide protection from heavy rains and are tear resistant, lightweight and easy to use. They also protect against airborne contamination such as dust, pollens and bird droppings. The covers are white, providing a secondary visible cover to help reduce the potential of theft or tampering.

B. Tyvek® roof and wall membranes and AirGuard® air & vapour control layers and Tapes.
As an innovative supplier of proven building envelope systems, DuPont™ Tyvek® offers a full range of high-performance membranes and accessories to help prevent air and moisture infiltration and improve energy efficiency in all building types.
Used together, Tyvek® breather membranes and AirGuard® Air and Vapour Control Layers (AVCLs) create a durable, holistic building envelope solution. They are designed to meet current sustainable building requirements and are backed by DuPont, the experts for quality materials and sustainable building practices.
Tyvek® breather membranes are UV- and heat-resistant. Their unique single-layer technology is vapour-open, yet watertight; this helps protect against condensation, moisture and air infiltration on external walls.
AirGuard® AVCLs are engineered to be highly vapour resistant and 100% airtight. This helps to control heat transfer and significantly improve energy efficiency.
Our range of Tyvek® sealing tapes are specifically designed to complement Tyvek® breather membranes and AirGuard® AVCLs, creating a more airtight seal, to give a complete, holistic building envelope solution.
With innovative developments that help protect buildings – and the people inside – better still, DuPont is currently raising the bar once again in the industry. Our new-generation products include metallised membranes for greater thermal comfort and Tyvek® FireCurbTM flame-retardant membranes that meet up to Euro Fireclass B (EN 13501-1).

C. Typar ®: Non-woven materials in the geotextile industry
- Road construction: A high degree of stiffness (the initial modulus of the material) at the typical stress levels that are experienced during the service life of the geotextile is vital in making any significant reduction in rutting and deformation
- Railway applications: Principally used for rail track renewal and construction
- Drainage applications: Over the past 30 years, more and more synthetic drainage materials have been replacing these natural materials, improving the permeability of impervious soils
- Erosion control applications: The geotextile replaces a conventional well-graded filter between soil to be retained and gabions, rip-rap or concrete slabs revetments, which protect the filter geotextile
